The paintings are in a figurative tradition with an emhasis placed on an even balance between form and content. The work contains elements of social commentary sometimes employing satire. A more universal reading of the work alludes to isolation and alienation in today’s society. Recent projects include the complition of a commission for the Confederation Centre Art Gallery in connection with an exhibition to comemorate the 150th anniversary of the city of Charlottetown and participation at the Toronto International Art Fair with Ingram Gallery, Toronto and art Karlsruhe, an international Art Fair in Germany with Art contact Fredricton.
